Brief
LOGO • PACKAGING
Delikatesse is a well-known, Norwegian organic beverage brand popular in Nordic Europe. The brand is owned by the Norway Food Co. which provides high-end soft beverages worldwide. The target audience is primarily office professionals working and living in urban areas around the globe, such as New York City, London, and Tokyo. A new bottle label design is needed to promote the refreshing organic fruit juices (apple, orange, and bilberry) for an on-the-go lifestyle, with a touch of Scandinavian style.

Logo
A typographic logo was modified from Century Gothic Regular. It retains the simplicity and readability of the original font with a few stylistic additions. The logo is bolder. The letterforms are more rounded off to echo the shapes of fruit. The crossbar sits on one side of the “t” to resemble a plant stem and is angled up to reinforce the active lifestyle of the user.

Packaging
The packaging, like the logo, is simple and functional. Graphical elements are strictly typographic and geometric. The initial of each fruit name is a focal point of the label and assists in straightforward identification of the flavor. A tight palette of black and white plus a unique color representing the flavor is used on the label and cap. The background color is provided by the juice inside the clear bottle.
